Karen is our PADI Mermaid Instructor coming all the way from Spain. She was passionate about diving from a young age and began her mermaid career in 2024 in the sunny Mediterranean Coast. Her goal is to inspire others from all over the globe to discover the magical world of mermaiding and make it inclusive and accessible to everyone.

She loves travelling so when not mermaiding around London she is on a scuba diving trip abroad to discover new and amazing dive sites.

Her Favourite Dive Site?

The SS Carnatic in the Red Sea, it’s a stunning 1862 British ship that is out of an old Disney movie, it’s home of beautiful corals and large schools of glassfish which create an impressive picture with the morning sunlight.

Her Favourite Marine Life?
Corals! there are so many different varieties and colours to look out for and they are essential for the marine ecosystem. I also love sharks, my favourites are hammerhead and leopard sharks which I’ve been lucky to encounter a few times in my dives.
