Standards & records: IDEST overview, intervals, job cards, serialisation, audit readiness
Tools & setup: IP gauges, torque wrenches, ultrasonic cleaning, bench safety
First stages: piston/diaphragm, balanced/unbalanced, filters, seats, HP/LP port care
Second stages: demand valves, lever height, orifice/seat, cracking pressure & Venturi
Disassembly & cleaning: degreasing/ultrasonic technique, inspection under magnification
Reassembly & torque: shims/seals, torque values, thread care
Testing & tuning: IP set-up & stability, creep checks, cracking effort, leak/flow tests
O₂ considerations: when full oxygen cleaning is required, labelling and paperwork
Module 2 — IDEST O₂ (Oxygen) Cleaning
Contamination control: clean-area layout, PPE, handling & particulate management
Cleaning chemistry & methods: aqueous vs solvent, ultrasonic, dwell/time/temperature
Materials compatibility: O-rings & seats (e.g., FKM/Viton®, EPDM), oxygen-compatible lubricants
Process steps: disassembly → gross/precision clean → rinse → controlled drying → reassembly
Verification: visual checks, white-wipe tests, optional UV inspection, acceptance criteria
Labelling & records: oxygen-clean tags, certificates, batch control & traceability

Format: Instructor-led theory briefs plus bench-top practical blocks
Duration: 2 days total (1 day Regulator Servicing + 1 day O₂ Cleaning; consecutive or modular)
