PADI Bubblemaker – A Child’s First Underwater Adventure
Scuba Diving for Kids Aged 8+ with The Diving Academy
Looking for a safe, exciting, and memorable way to introduce your child to the underwater world? The PADI Bubblemaker experience at The Diving Academy is the perfect first step into scuba diving for children aged 8 and above. This fun and fully supervised session allows young adventurers to blow their first bubbles in a warm, shallow pool using real scuba equipment—just like grown-up divers!
About the Experience
The Bubblemaker session begins with a warm welcome and a friendly safety briefing from one of our PADI-certified instructors. We’ll walk your child through the basics of scuba diving, explain how to use child-sized gear, and help them feel confident and excited for their first dive. Once they’re suited up, your child will:

Enter the shallow end of a heated indoor pool

Learn how to breathe underwater using a scuba regulator

Try simple underwater skills and float freely below the surface

- Must be a minimum of 8 years old.
- Enjoy being in the water.
Course Medical Requirements
Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving.
Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical form to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course. Instructors, divemasters and dive shop staff are not physicians and should not be asked for medical advice; only medical professionals can give medical clearance to dive.

Youth Diving At Diving Academy
For children and young adults, mastering the art of scuba diving is an experience like no other. Your child’s first breaths underwater mark the beginning of a life changing journey as a PADI diver.
